RTS Forestry Woodland Management begins with understanding an owner’s woodland priorities, and continues with ensuring regular communication of the delivery towards these objectives on time and within budget.
We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to forest management. Our management is structured around a personalised service defined by the requirements of the client. Whether those are for RTS Forestry to provide the full suite of forest management services or intermittent guidance, our service is tailored to meet these requirements.
Professional forest management
The forest industry is currently in a buoyant and healthy situation. This is reflected in significant expansion of the country’s forestry management and contracting services and record investment within the sawmilling and biomass sectors. The industry has successfully shaken off an out of date image based on large blocks of single species tree planting from the 70’s and is now clearly demonstrating the significant timber production, conservation and amenity benefits of woodland. Investment in wood processing is enhancing timber prices and grower returns, resulting in renewed enthusiasm to create quality woodland.
Managing woodlands nationwide
From our offices in Crieff, Hexham, Inverness and Aboyne RTS Forestry manages woodlands across Scotland and Northern England from large commercial forests to smaller estate woodlands. Clients range from private individuals to large multi-nationals, conservation charities and governmental organisations.
Our management standards are independently audited and we operate our own FSC® Group Scheme (FSC-C019611) to enable us to offer certified status to forest management clients
