As specialist rural contractors, RTS Forestry has undertaken a broad range of conservation contracts across Scotland.
We have extensive experience in invasive species control, from Himalayan Balsam on construction sites through to Rhododendron control, in addition we have undertaken thousands of hectares of invasive tree control on bog and peatland habitat restoration projects.
Experts in peatland restoration
With the launch of the Peatland Action Fund, we have delivered a number of peatland restoration projects and have developed significant expertise in this area . The remote nature of these works brings its own challenges. As upland forest managers for many years, we are familiar with delivering contracts in remote areas.
Successful project delivery
We find our broad experience in forest management, consultancy and project delivery comes together to assist in the successful delivery of these operations. We know both what is required on the ground, and to deliver to complex parameters determined within the approvals process.
